smart goals how to properly set goal

When it comes to pursuing our dreams, there is only one way to know our progress.

Milestones show us what we're achieving and allow us to see how far we can go.

If you have already stopped reading any statistics or articles that set goals, you will need to read two things.

Without goals, people are not as successful as they would like to be.

People who do not set goals are less likely to achieve them.

What I've achieved in the last 10 years of dream pursuit is how important goals are in understanding your dreams.

Goals give us the speed to face difficulties while pursuing our dreams.

This year, there was a lot of pressure not to set goals.

People were sharing how horrible it felt when they failed to achieve their goals or they never really pursued them.

So, do we also want to set goals to make our dreams come true?

The problem for many people is that they have not set goals that will help them succeed.

And because of fear or the creation of a flawed purpose, not following them has left them behind.

I set goals earlier in the year, and never looked back.

I will have really vague, general ideas that I want to achieve, but never make practical plans or plans to achieve anything.

You may have heard of Smart Goal System.

In fact, when I finally got tired of not achieving my goals, I learned about it and started looking for some of my goals.

And then, I learned about "ER" goal setting.

Let's start setting some goals using the smart system.

The question is: why do I need it?

A: The more specific you are, the easier it will be to quantify your results along the way.

For example, if you want to lose weight, to be more clear, how much do you want to lose?

Even better, what weight would you like to weigh at the end of achieving your goal?

A specific target says: I will weigh 200lbs.

We need to be able to see progress over time.

Say your goal is to write a novel.

You will need to go into more detail and measure what you can track.

One of the main purposes of writing a novel is: I will finish writing a novel of 50,000 words.

However, when writing goals, we are talking about putting them into action.

Able to achieve a goal when it is immediately clear what steps need to be taken to achieve it.

An easy way to make items workable is to start with the verb.

In the equation, 'R' is related to or related to.

When you are setting goals, what you want to do seems realistic.

When you set a goal, you need to think about your current situation.

Some people will ask you to set a '10x goal', set a goal that is almost impossible to force you to pull.

Although I think it's good, it's not the first time, or someone is struggling for goals.

You need to set goals that you can use to accomplish your goals in life.

Are you the father of three teenagers who do two jobs?

If you want to reach 5% of body fat, you can't exercise for 3 hours a day.

Try: I will reduce my body fat rate by 10%, my starting point is X%.

A deadline is required for each purpose. Why?

So you are forced to take action within a certain period of time.

Simply saying that you will do something is not good.

You need to say when you will complete it.

That way, you'll have to map out your route to success.

Otherwise, you always have a goal but never need to achieve it.

Going back to the novel example: I will be writing a 50,000 word novel by December 31.
